About
Kohei Maeji leads international sales and export development at Aisen Industrial Co., Ltd., the overseas and OEM division of Aisen — a Wakayama-based household-goods maker with over 70 years of manufacturing heritage. He brings Japanese-made body towels, konjac sponges, urushi (lacquer) hairbrushes and professional cleaning tools to buyers, distributors and retailers around the world.
Kohei’s career spans more than a decade in B2B sales and international trade. Before joining Aisen he spent over nine years at a Wakayama-based food manufacturer, leading domestic and export sales across Taiwan, Malaysia and other markets, handling overseas equipment procurement and food-safety compliance, and building a B2B wholesale e-commerce channel from scratch.
At Aisen, he launched the company’s first direct-to-consumer store on Amazon USA in 2025 — running the brand store, A+ content, listing SEO, PPC, international logistics and inventory single-handedly — and opened distribution partnerships across Vietnam, India, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the United States, generating more than 70 qualified B2B leads in his first year through LinkedIn and web outreach alone.
His work spans the full OEM/ODM cycle — spec adjustment, sampling, quality control and English-language documentation — and he has led a CSR project introducing Japanese cleaning culture and shared-space care in Indonesia. His mission is to bring the craftsmanship, tradition and quiet innovation of lesser-known Japanese manufacturing to a global audience, pairing speed and flexibility with careful, trustworthy communication.
