I recently had a very intense but rewarding day for my e-commerce business! 🚀
First, I had an identity verification call with Amazon. The interviewer spoke very fast with a strong accent. Honestly, it was a bit difficult to catch everything at first! I had to ask him to speak slowly to ensure I provided the correct information.
■We discussed:
・Security & Compliance: Verifying my passport, credit card, and bank details.
Logistics: Explaining our shipping process from Japan to the US via UGX.
・Account Transparency: Clarifying the roles of my business associates to prove account legitimacy.
Through this, I learned that clear communication and honesty are the most important tools when dealing with strict global standards.
Later that day, I had a business negotiation with a potential partner in the Netherlands. We discussed our “Made in Japan” exfoliating towels and Konjac sponges.
・Quality over Price: We talked about why customers choose our 3D-woven nylon towels over cheaper alternatives.
・Market Expansion: Exploring new opportunities in the Netherlands and Germany.
It was a great reminder that Japanese craftsmanship has real value in the global market. Even though English is not my first language, using it to build trust and expand my business is a great feeling.
I’m excited to continue this journey and bring high-quality Japanese products to more people around the world! 🌏✨
